Yoga

Practicing yoga regularly allows you to develop strength and flexibility—increasingly crucial as we age. The entire body benefits. Focusing on the postures and the breath inspires a sense of calmness, relaxing the mind (the payoffs: better sleep and a happier mood), while the asanas contribute to better balance and can ease chronic back pain.

Flow

It is a type of yoga that focuses on the connection between breath, movement, and the mind. It is based on the principles of hatha yoga, vinyasa yoga and ashtanga vinyasa. This style of yoga is often referred to as ‘flow’ because it moves from one pose to another in a continuous, smooth way.

Ashtanga

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a physically demanding style of yoga. Students follow a set sequence of postures each time, gradually progressing through the series. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga emphasises the linking of movement and breath (vinyasa), Ujjayi breathing and bandhas (energy locks).

Foam Rolling

Using a foam tube to apply pressure and massage the area back and forth, foam rolling improves blood flow to the area, reducing inflammation and increasing range of motion. It can prime the muscles before you start a workout, help you recover from strenuous activity or ease pain from everyday activities, including sitting at a desk or standing all day.
